I’ll be honest, I felt pretty stressed out today. The acorn haze was particularly toxic this morning, and everyone was so distracted, including my new intern Tiffany! Poor thing, she has really bad allergies this time of year.

? LOVE YOU, TIFF!!! ?

Plus, we suffered a raid last night, and people were too busy finding the missing women to pay any attention to my mud mask stall. Le sigh.

Then I remembered how lucky I am to live in a place where I can afford to keep a stall, AND harvest a wealth of natural ingredients right here in my own town. Plus, hello! I’m surrounded by  beautiful things like this blooming cactus! I have dreams, of course, of packing up and moving out to Kaylee, but the truth is, I’m just not ready. I have a lot of work to do here, even on those mornings when it’s hard to see the forest for the trees (because you can’t see either through the haze!). I have to keep my main goal in mind: to share my love of beauty with the world no matter how ugly things get.
